Community Care Circle: Release with Art, Movement and Mental Health Convo

In the wake of recent ICE raids in Minnesota, many in our communities have experienced loss, stress, and deep uncertainty. These experiences weigh on both our bodies and our minds, often in ways we may not fully recognize, affecting how we move through our daily lives.

This two-hour community workshop offers a safe and supportive space to slow down, move gently, and express what we may not always have words for.

Through reflective art activities, guided stretching to release tension in the body, and open conversations about mental health, participants will have the opportunity to reconnect with their bodies, process emotions, and explore ways to care for themselves and one another during this challenging time.

When is the workshop?

  • Sunday, March 22nd from 10am-12pm in Saint Paul, MN

  • Location/Parking: Due to the safety of our attendees, you will only receive access to the location once you purchase a ticket.

  • If the ticket cost is a barrier, please email coachsam@superlysam.com
to receive a sponsored access code provided by our venue partner. We want this space to remain accessible for community members who need it most

Together we will:

  • Set intentions for the space and acknowledge what our community is experiencing

  • Paint our feelings as a way to express emotions that may be difficult to verbalize

  • Engage in gentle stretching and grounding exercises to reconnect with the body

  • Have guided discussions around mental health, community stress, and ways to stay safe and supported

  • Close with reflection and resources for continued care

This workshop is a supportive, judgment-free environment for participants that have been impacted by the ICE.
